r/guns – 1920s Stevens No.10 Target single shot .22 with custom bone grips

Just picked this up pretty cheap from a dealer, it was listed as fair condition with no pictures on their website and I was pleasantly surprised by both the condition and grips! These were only made for a few years and never a very successful design, it was Stevens’ attempt to replace their tip up series of target pistols with a more modern design, styled more like an auto loader. It’s a surprisingly big, heavy gun with a weird cocking lever at the rear, a bit awkward to use but I suspect it will shoot pretty well. Either way I’m happy with it!
