Sending 185 gr at 1,575 fps / 1,019 ft-lbs and 230 gr at 1,400 / 1,001 ft-lbs and delivering 2.5X more bang for the buck than your mom a 45 AARP gun, this Wilson Combat Hunter in 460 Rowland is my favorite 1911 to shoot.
Getting into 44 Mag territory, but weighing in at 42.8 oz vs the 44 Deagle at ~70 oz, and with CMC 10 rounders, packing 2 more rounds.
The comp really works to mitigate recoil and back on target is as fast as a hot 45 or a 10mm, and it’s a laser. It is bloody loud though, and indoors, makes the ceiling rain snow chunks.
