Made utilizing 1″ pvc pipe, various fittings, and two screws. Dremel not required, but highly recommended.
Loading single stack mags sucks. Thumb savers help some, but they don’t significantly reduce loading time for me.
An idea and a few hours playing around on a CAD got some geometry and measurements figured out, but there’s no one nearby with a 3d printer, so a quick look around the hardware store later and I came home with all the pvc and fittings needed.
The basic concept is scalable for any round and mag. A divot shaped to hold the round and a hopper that will automatically drop a new round in the divot was the first step. Make a space behind the divot that a mag can fit into and slide foreward. Some mag designs might need a foot behind the divot to help press the rounds in the mag evenly so they don’t jam up.
I attempted to design one for a Glock 9mm magazine since I might obtain digitally a 3d file to check match throughout the CAD, however with out a 3d printer or a Glock i’ve no means of testing it out IRL.
