r/guns - In all of my 28 years in this world, finally shot a gun for the first time about a month ago. Couldn't afford a glock, but this doesn't seem too bad for my first handgun. How'd I do? $460 out the door.

My TP9SFx was horribly unreliable for the primary ~800 rounds, and that I particularly purchased 124gr to interrupt it in. I swapped the recoil spring and information rod with a Glock (34 iirc?) like I used to be additionally instructed would repair the difficulty, however that made it worse. I couldn’t make it by a full magazine with out some kind of malfunction.

It’s higher now and that I possibly have 1/200 rounds that FTF, stovepipe or double feed, however I actually wouldn’t belief it for defensive use.

It’s an especially enjoyable gun to shoot, the set off is wonderful and it’s correct as hell (it’s nearly too simple to shoot with a purple dot on it), but when the world ended it in all probability could be one of many final weapons I’d seize in my complete 20+ gun assortment if that claims something.
