Congressman Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky) continues to boldly advocate for the confirmed advantages of firearm possession and hid carry. In the times after final week’s lockdown, he tweeted that “The next member who argues Congressmen shouldn’t be allowed to carry firearms at work needs to be laughed out of the Capitol.”
And then there was the following sentence in his tweet . . .

Mr. Massie mentioned throughout an interview Thursday on “The Tom Roten Morning Show” that he and his employees hunkered down in his workplace whereas the chaos unfolded, which finally led to the police-shooting demise of a lady, the demise of a Capitol Police officer, and the deaths of three Trump supporters who reportedly suffered medical emergencies.
“We barricaded the doors,” Mr. Massie mentioned. “I was armed, so. Another congressman joined me and his staff, and that was where we spent several hours until they cleared the situation. It was tense.”
Now if he might solely work to move laws to permit mere mortals the identical privileges that Congress provides to its members.
